Cambodia Space Project @ Here Be Dragons

Battambang province, Cambodia - August 30, 2013 - Cambodia Space Project are a group who play oldschool psychedelic rock fused with traditional Khmer pop music. The Australian guitarist and the singer are married and have been touring the world. They put on a great show, and I highly recommend checking them out. Last night they played at my local haunt, Here Be Dragons, a fine establishment if ever I saw one.

A Morning Procession

Battambang province, Cambodia - August 8, 2013 - A procession of 42 monks passes by our house and me and the landlady pitch in to get them 42 offerings.

 

Each package contains a 500mL bottle of purified water and a small packet of instant noodles.

The final monk is given one bottle of soy sauce, one bottle of fish sauce, and one bottle of sweetened milk in addition to the water and noodles.

Blessed with a chant and sprinkling of water.
