A Conference in Penang - Episode 1

Penang Island, Penang province, Malaysia - 16 November-23 November, 2014 - Me and my fiancee travelled with my father to Penang for a week because he was attending the ELLTA Conference at the SAINS University of Malaysia. It was... an interesting experience. To be bluntly honest it was unbelievable how unorganised it was. For example, the only indication as to the location of the conference was a huge sign reading "MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA". Nonetheless, many interesting people were there, and they had some interesting things to say. We also holidayed around a bit. Here's some of the things I saw.

The opening ceremony of the conference.

This is at a place called the Red Garden. It must have some of, I kid you not, really I'm not joking at all, some of the best seafood in the world.

I have NEVER eaten king prawns as big OR delicious as these. One is garlic and chili and the other is black sauce.

Red Garden, the place itself.

Live performance every night, it is really a great place.

Singapore, please will you license this stuff to Cambodia? I promise I will buy a lot of it.
